Road biking: Throughout the Valley but the East Orchard Mesa paved road is very popular. The road is very curvy but flat (except for the part where you have to ride UP to the Mesa near Palisade). The Mesa is that area roughly between Whitewater Hill Winery/Hwy 141 (West side) and the Talbott’s Mountain Gold packing shed (East side). The road weaves throughout the major vineyards and orchards of the Grand Valley Appellation.
Other popular routes include the paved Riverfront Trail System running from Palisade to Grand Junction all the way up to the Colorado National Monument.
Mountain/Gravel biking: Throughout the BLM and National Forest lands.
