History

Established in 2004 by Nancy Janes and John Behrs, Whitewater Hill Vineyards has been growing grapes and making award winning wines ever since.

Melanie and Jeff Wick purchased the winery in March of 2022 and are continuing the tradition of classic wine making. Our major change is to introduce more food options to the wine tasting experience at Whitewater Hill Vineyards. We come from a background in the food and service industry and feel that the best wine experience involves food pairing.

Peaches and wine grapes have been grown in the Grand Valley for over 100 years. Our favorable climate, soil, and water make these crops viable. Please see our climate section for more information.
